We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to prospective customers and our Sales team throughout the pre-sales process.
What you will do:
- Provide technical support and guidance during the sales process.
- Deliver onboarding sessions and technical training to prospective customers.
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives with new customers.
- Collaborate with the product management and engineering teams to communicate the priorities and concerns raised by prospective customers.
- Work closely with the Sales team to provide technical guidance, product insights, and assist in closing deals.
- Support existing accounts and manage expectations when additional technical assistance is required.
- Develop key sales, demo, and technical documentation for Team City and adapt existing demos for specific use cases.
- Support activities for building the sales pipeline, including the delivery of product demos and webinars, and representing Jet Brains at occasional trade shows and conferences.
- Assist in responding to RFPs and RFIs by providing technical insights.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, the competitive landscape, and technical advancements in the field.
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience in a sales engineering or solutions engineering role, preferably within the software development or Dev Ops space.
- Strong background in software development practices and tools, including .NET, Java, Java Script, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Technical expertise in Dev Ops tools such as Team City, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, Git Lab, Travis CI, and Circle CI.
- Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
- Ability to drive technical discussions with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfortable giving both in-person and remote presentations, leading Q&A sessions, discussing product roadmaps, and delivering product demos.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. You must be fluent in English, as it is the primary language for communicating with customers, partners, and team members.
- Proven track record of building and developing relationships in the B2B sector.
- Ability to work efficiently and independently in a distributed team environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally.
