Driving Purchasing and Supply chain between Sales and Operations
As part of Advantech Europe operations you play a key role in the operational execution of our growing business in the European industrial automation sector. The Operations team is responsible for the final delivery to our customers. Our major supplier is our colleague headquarters in Taiwan, with which you work closely. Your will be actively involved in projects for professionalizing and optimizing the sourcing, purchasing and vendor management.

• Managing suppliers in close cooperation with HQ Taiwan;
• Involvement in domestic and international purchasing including sourcing, planning shipping schedule and RMA coordination;
• Managing the complete order process from inventory, forecasts and placing the PO to stock;
• Internal communication with the Sales Force to get forecasts for each product group;
• Coordinating with all related departments to ensure a smooth flow of purchasing issues;
• Pro-actively executing the strategy for Service in a pragmatic way;
• Maintaining ISO 9001 standards and other quality systems.

By nature you have a positive can-do attitude with the necessary flexibility and sensitivity to act well with different stakeholders and nationalities:

• Solid Supply Chain and some purchasing experience;
• Expedition experience is a pre;
• Experience with ERP ( preferably SAP MM ) and MS Office suite ( Excel );
• Intermediate to advanced level of English language is required, both verbal and written. German is a must.
• Mandarin language skills and Asian experience is a big plus;
• Organized and structural working attitude. Hands-on, analytical and result driven.
• Ability to build strong relationship with internal and external contacts.
