The Opportunity:
Our Digital Pathology Sub-Chapter is a fast-paced, highly interdisciplinary, and technical team of people with the ambitious goal of reinventing the practice of Pathology by crafting an innovative platform to facility pathology clinical workflow and integrate with AI technologies to improve the lives of cancer patients.

As a Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for the successful tactical execution of activities related to the navify Digital Pathology product. Work proactively with Development Leads, Technical Leads, Project Leader and International Product Managers to identify key needs, translate those needs into specifications that development team can build Digital Pathology Platform that are adapted by our customer on the cloud solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Translate product strategy into detailed scientific requirements for prototype construction and final product development by engineering.
  • Be the voice of the customer for the product development team throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from definition to sunsetting of the product.
  • Collaborate with customers, team members, and outside influencers to ensure a solid and well-rounded understanding of products and developing needs.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the digital pathology market, of Roche portfolio, and of our competitors.
  • Be the high-availability resource for answering questions posed by engineers, data scientists, and designers about stories in the backlog on a day-to-day basis.
  • Author user stories, acceptance criteria, product, and software requirements documentation.
  • Ensure that story content and prioritization is aligned to larger strategic goals.
  • Attend standups, grooming meetings, estimation meetings, retrospectives and other key meetings for the scrum team.
  • Manage scope and drive trade-off decisions in conjunction with external stakeholders.
  • Identify blockers that will impact timeline, scope, cost or other project variables and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage requirements lifecycle across multiple tools and systems
  • Support the User acceptance testing activities by interacting with stakeholder/s. Prepare release notes and update the business owners regarding features being incorporated in each release.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
  • 5 years of experience in technical product management in the health care service industry or experience managing requirements of digital pathology domain.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Product management skills - managing priorities, quality, conflict, risk, etc.
  • Occasional travel may be required in the amount of 10-20% for conferences and client visits.

Preferred:
  • An advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computer Sciences, Biology, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of the digital pathology space and the associated technologies.
  • Experience in regulated industries, specifically Medical Devices/Digital Health/Lifesciences.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of CA state is $102,900 - $190,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
