For our Irvine Scientific European Sales Division (ISED) ART we are looking for a

Territory Manager – Assisted Reproductive Technologies (f/m/div).

About the role:
The Territory Manager for the territory of South of Germany, Austria & the German speaking part of Switzerland will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships among business partners while also developing strategies to maximize revenue opportunities. To keep fueling the exponential growth and expansion you will understand the market and the specific challenges. You are going to define the market, mapping the key companies and stakeholders. Of course you are also looking for new opportunities by acquiring new clients.

In this role you will interface with customers on many different levels. You will need to remain current with technological advances, exceptional product knowledge and thoroughly understand your clients’ needs to provide optimal solutions. Through networking at (local) events, extensive communication and an awareness of ongoing client requirements, you are expected to develop, grow and expand business partner relationships.

You will devise a go-to-market strategy, based on the understanding of the market's specific challenges and needs, working closely with them to execute the plan.

You will report directly to the Country Manager - DACH. You will provide him on a regular basis all necessary feedback to ensure sure the plan is being fully executed.
Responsibilities:
  • Requires 60-70% travel within the assigned territory.
  • Managing and directing field contact with customers to develop, maintain, and expand existing business in the territory following a specific sales call rotation within these assigned accounts.
  • Provide feedback to inside personnel, Sales Management and Marketing Department on changes in the marketplace or competitive trends and additional information.
  • Cold calls to qualify sales leads and generate new business.
  • Following up with customer requests for additional information, quotes, or product samples, meeting accounts specific needs as requests.
  • Must be well organized managing all administrative duties and product requests within these Target and Key accounts.
  • Development of promotional ideas and activities in the given territory to assure profitable growth.
  • Communicate ideas for new products based on customer input and suggestions to internal teams..
  • Responsible for documenting of all sales related activities including sales calls, pertinent account and contact activities, account profiles in the CRM (Customer Relationship Manager) sales reporting program call plans expense reporting and travel logistics.
  • Attend local ART related events as directed developing key relations with all laboratory personnel.
  • Responsible for working within the expense guidelines.
  • Must be able to work with and develop strong relationships with area KOL’s.
  • Must work closely with company Technical Application Scientist setting up and conducting product evaluations within accounts.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience (preferably in Clinical, IVD, Life science, Biotech or related field sales. IVF on plus)
  • A bachelor/master degree in a related field is preferred (Biology or Embryology experience is desirable, alternatively Biotechnology, Chemistry, Microbiology or related life science)
  • A proven ability to work independently and home based, while aligning and reporting to our HQs.
  • A good command of both the English and German language, both verbally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a good work ethic
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, result driven and proactive with a strong team spirit.
  • Ideally based in Southern Germany
