Your mission

As a Test Lab Technician (all genders) you will play a crucial role in setting up and operating test benches and conducting test campaigns. You will work hands-on in the test facilities on test setups, equipment under test, instrumentation and data acquisition. You will work closely with the Test Engineers and Lab Engineers as well as external parties.

You can rely on skilled leadership and strong support within the VÆRIDION team, yet you will be given a healthy amount of responsibility and autonomy.

Your primary workplace will be our site in Holzkirchen, in the closer Munich area.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Conduct commissioning and integration of equipment under test.
• Prepare, execute, postprocess, and document test campaigns according to the test plan and/or lab test request.
• Support the test bench and lab infrastructure specification as well as the instrumentation specification.
• Conduct the implementation of the hardware and software setups according to the specifications and procedures.
• Contribute to rigorous problem management of both equipment under test and lab infrastructure.
• Work actively with and support the coordination of external third parties like suppliers, craftsmen, or test service providers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements. This includes proper documentation and continuous monitoring and reporting.
• Adopt and live a zero-safety-incident culture including continuous improvement and cleanliness of the workplace.

Your profile

• Technician degree (“Techniker”) as an electrician (“Elektriker”), mechatronics technician (“Mechatroniker”) or industrial mechanic (“Industriemechaniker”).
• Training as a qualified electrician (“Elektrofachkraft”) would be a strong plus.
• 5+ years experience in the assembly, instrumentation and operation of test benches, ideally in electric mobility.
• Profound proficiency in the usage of electrical and mechanical tools (multimeters, insulation testers, wrenches, calipers, etc.)
• Interpretation knowledge of technical drawings, CAD models, schematics, and manufacturing and instrumentation documentation.
• Knowledge about the execution of test campaigns, e.g. using CANoe, Vector or similar.
• Passionate team player with high amount of self-initiative, solution orientation, and eagerness to learn and grow.
• Fluent in German language, proficient in English language.
