Join our Venture Clienting team and play a crucial role in our company's strategy to accelerate energy transition technologies and business models! Collaborating effectively with startups is one key ingredient that can add significant impact to both Siemens Energy and the startups we are working with. You will lead our Venture Clienting operations that bring together the power of startups and Siemens Energy and you have the unique opportunity to take our operations to the next level. You can put your mark on further refining and implementing our scale up strategy by leading our Venture Clienting core team and our Venture Associates across the business. Although we measure how many pilots we conduct, our yardstick of the business impact we bringing to the company – you will help make this happen together with the team.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead the company-wide Venture Clienting operations, including setting and implementing our scale up strategy in line with company priorities, stakeholder management, partnering, brand positioning and supporting a highly motivated team in its delivery.
Further refine and implement our scale-up strategy towards 100 pilots with 100 million returns per year by systematically introducing new approaches like digitalization, automation and people enablement.
Build and maintain a strong network with key partners and decision makers across the business to ensure focus on the right priorities, business impact delivery and championship.
Collaborate with departments like R&D, Strategy, HR, Procurement, and Legal to ensure we continue to improve our customer experience. Draw on your network and knowledge of the industry to determine areas of emphasis and develop strategies for we become easy to work with,
Create and implement a successful positioning strategy and management, collaborating with senior leaders and other corporate venturing peers both inside and outside Siemens Energy.
Build and maintain strong delivery partnerships along the Venture Clienting value chain, including designing mission alignment and contract negotiations.
Represent Siemens Energy Ventures as lead for Venture Clienting and driving thought leadership
Provide transparent and consistent performance reporting, portfolio reviews, and ad hoc board presentations as required.
What You Bring
Several years (5-8 years) of experience in piloting startup solutions and startup program operation on a global scale in a large energy corporate
Proven track record in successfully designing and scaling startup collaboration programs as well as experience in managing people functionally and in a matrix organization
Excellent skills in coaching team members and building relationships with key partners, including startups, internal stakeholders, customers, and ecosystem partners
Strong enthusiasm for new technologies and change management, with a focus on solving knowledge gaps through external partners like startups and advocating for change
Informed about the Venture Client Process and its value proposition, with a deep understanding of internal processes, decision-making, procurement, product management, and influencing technology adoption
Full written and spoken proficiency in English is vital
