We are looking for a VP of VES (Veralto Enterprise System). This role is responsible for driving global VES capability and continuous improvement. The role is a key partner to the President and L1 Team to develop both long- and short-term VES strategies to deliver Operating Company results. Ability to link VES current state to CVDs (Core Value Drivers) through a VES Roadmap and lead organization with actions that close gaps and build competitive advantage.

Our VES tools are designed to help us excel in the areas of Growth, Innovation, and Lean, building on a strong foundation of VES fundamentals (e. g. Standard Work, Kaizen, 5S, Problem Solving, Visual & Daily Management).
Reporting to the President, the Vice President, Veralto Enterprise System (VES) will be a key member of the senior management team responsible for leading the strategy design/implementation of VES to support OTT Hydro Met’ s continued success in driving, commercial execution, technology innovation and Lean across the globe.
This hybrid- role will be located in Delft (The Netherlands) or in Fellbach (Germany) and requires min. 50% of traveling.
Key Responsabilities:

Partner with the President and L1 Team to develop both long- and short-term VES strategies to deliver Operating Company business needs and continuous improvement. Ability to link VES current state to CVDs (Core Value Drivers) through a VES Roadmap and lead organization with actions that close gaps and build competitive advantage. Key to success here is capability and confidence to challenge and influence the President and L1 Team with an eye towards focusing on the critical few.

Collaborate on Operating Company annual Strategic Plan process with potential to own and support specific initiatives or chapters. Ability to connect-the-dots between the multi-year strategy and DBS execution. Leverage L1 Policy Deployment to craft annual Improvement Priorities. This includes facilitating the ownership, problem/opportunity breakdown, with action plans and metrics to deliver results. Coaches Problem Solving against key PD and KPI misses, building PSP capability and closing process and metric gaps. Supports the President with L1 monthly Operations an PD execution.

Responsible for driving overall Op Co plan to drive VES awareness, engagement, and capability. This includes a keen ability to assess the current state of different locations and departments across the Op Co. Will work with L1, VESLs, and local leadership to build the team and plan to grow VES. Success here includes building VES skill from multiple levels in the organization with evidence of sustainment.

Lead and support VES execution which may include Operation Reviews, Growth Rooms, and gemba reviews. Supports kaizen charter reviews and execution, especially for President’s kaizens. Quality of the kaizen funnel and sustainment is critical to success.

Guide pre-work and sustainment of the Kaizen process and provide training on key VES Tools (Kaizen, PSP, Daily Management, etc.); ensure and conduct regular reviews of kaizen charter creation, review, approval, and pre-work that drive successful kaizen preparation, and kaizen sustainment.

Has depth of knowledge across VES Fundamentals and Segments (Lean, Commercial, Innovation, and Leadership). Leads from the front with VES. Experience with Policy Deployment and Problem Solving and ability to coach is critical. Has a visible Op Co plan and roadmap to build VES capabilities across the organization’s locations and departments.

Support global management in the planning, facilitation, implementation, and sustainment of kaizen activities, benchmark tours, and new employee orientation.

Drive VES immersion for L1 leaders and mentor and lead business VESL´s in application of VES.

Engage in regular forums with the corporate VES Office and network of VES leaders across Veralto to identify best practices, provide feedback, and request support.

Communicate and drive “Best Practices” across the business and facilitate Veralto leadership benchmarking sessions.

Partner with the President and L1 leaders to drive excellence in key Op Co-wide processes such as Strategic Plan, Commercial Planning, PD Install, Budgeting.

Support and align on integration of new acquisitions.
Key Qualifications:
-
BA/BS or equivalent in business, engineering. MBA preferred
-
10+ years of business management experience with demonstrated success leading teams in a global environment

Experience developing and owning strategic plan initiatives and in year execution (Policy Deployment)

Ability to work with functions in the implementation of the VES roadmap and implement key growth initiatives; successfully drives change, handles conflict / ambiguity
-
Superior skills in communications, training / adult learning, consulting / influencing; teamwork across disciplines, regions, and cultures
-
Demonstrated successful experience with VES in the commercial field or functional leader with extensive VES experience.

2+ years experience within Industrial, manufacturing industry preferred
-
Change agent, preferred if with experienced in driving large changes and transformation. A plus a certification in ADKAR/Kotter.

German language is a plus
