THE ROLE

As an intern or working student in Risk & Compliance (all genders), you’ll play a vital role in helping our team identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring the security of our customers' financial data.

This position follows a hybrid work model and requires at least two days per week in the office. We have three locations in Germany: one in the beautiful port city of Hamburg, another in the Bavarian capital Munich, and our headquarters in Berlin.

What you will be doing:

• Actively supporting the execution of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, including assessing AML risks for our customers.
• Gaining hands-on experience with our state-of-the-art technical AML solutions.
• Conducting independent research and analysis tasks related to various Risk & Compliance processes.
• Assisting in customer audits to ensure compliance with national and regulatory standards.
• Contributing to tasks related to Information Security, particularly ICT third-party risk management.

What you bring to the team:

• You are a student in a higher semester, pursuing a degree in economics, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field, with strong academic performance.
• You are looking to work at least 16 hours per week and are enrolled at a university for at least 5 more months.
• Ideally, you have initial experience in the financial industry or consulting.
• You demonstrate strong team spirit, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude to gain valuable hands-on experience.
• You have a solid knowledge of Office applications.
• You possess excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
