Business Development Manager Balkans
This position reports to the Senior Business Development Manager Balkans and is based in Greece or in Serbia (Belgrad).

What you will do
The Business Development Manager Balkans is responsible for:
- managing all distributors in whole W.Balkans & Bulgaria area to drive sales growth and market share of our brands.
- the overall sales strategy, channel management, staff development, and revenue generation for the group business. Plans and directs all activities to enhance competitive position.
- giving work direction, resolves problems, and coordinates activities of department with related activities of other departments to assure efficiency and economy.
- providing strategic leadership for commercial activities while focusing on the long-term interests of the business.
- Develop and execute commercial strategies, plans and promotional programs to achieve business objectives within budget and policies across product categories and relevant trade channels.
- Look for opportunities to grow business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Maintain contact with key markets by visiting and investigating the operations and local conditions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, and trade partners
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions. Evaluate and provide analysis for new products and market opportunities
- Proposing priorities for activities for every market under responsibility, including proposing appropriate key performance indicators (KPI’s) and driving and monitoring execution of their performance by market / by brand/ by channel/ by Customer
- Develops and implements Route to Market policies across different trade channels
- Recommends and monitoring distributors’ activities, including development of distribution, display and promotion strategies and business plans for the market under responsibility. Reviews business results with distributor and recommends corrective actions when needed for the market under responsibility
- Monitors distributor payments, liaison on the balance confirmation, reviewing bank guaranty needs and coordination with Company Finance department in this area
- Supports Kenvue distributor contract negotiation process by gathering information and recommends locally aligned Distributor trading terms
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance and market trends to senior management
- Analyses sales and other reports that give insight into how a company can improve performance
- Budget spending monitoring, quarterly and year end budget reconciliation, requesting CN if needed, raising POs for assigned distributors if in scope, based on the agreed budgets by market / by Distributor/ by Brand/ by customer
- Collaborates with the marketing in implementing marketing strategies
- Collaborates with all other companies functions maximize the results , working as ONE TEAM
- Ensure the implementation of company's HCC policy, processes and rules
- Compliance with all the relevant Kenvue business conduct policies including Business Conduct Policy and the Health Care Compliance Policy
What we are looking for
- At least 10 years of experience in Commercial function of a multinational company in FMCG industry
- At least 5 years experience in Balkans area
- University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Economics, Business, Marketing related studies.
- Fluent in English
- Strong distributor management experience with tangible results
- Sounds commercial knowledge and experience matched with sense of urgency
- Solid understanding of business strategies and with appropriate analytical & coaching skills
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to build professional credibility and respect
- Self-starter, innovative, independent, strong professional drive
