CMO & Out Licensing Operations Manager

The CMO & Out Licensing Operations Manager is a dual role responsible for identifying and managing third-party CMO service providers for DEMO’s products, while overseeing both client and supplier relationships. Ensures seamless coordination, on-time delivery, and alignment with strategic goals, managing all activities within budget and defined objectives.
This role is based in Athens (Kryoneri) and reports to the Group Director of Corporate Development.
Key Responsibilities:
For CMO and out-licensing services offered by the company:

Manage prospective B2B clients in Greece or abroad, related to out-licensing and contract manufacturing business models. - Manage the project from contract execution up to the delivery of the first batch to the client (launch phase).
- Monitor the compliance of the company’s customer relationship with the executed contract and propose corrective/preventive actions when needed.
- Negotiate changes in the contract terms with the customer.
- Monitor the invoicing procedure for any services provided by DEMO during the launch phase.
- Prepare reports and presentations for top management.
- Prepare company operating procedures for the areas of his/her responsibility.
For CMO services requested by the company:

Identifies and evaluates potential contract manufacturing partners (CMOs) for the company's products based on the pharmaceutical forms and processes involved - Handles contract negotiations with the selected CMOs until contract execution
- Travels onsite as required to CMOs for critical business activities.
- Functions as a liaison between the CMOs and the involved teams of the company (Tech-Transfer, QA, QC, Supply Chain, Operations/Logistics, etc) during the tech-transfer phase of the products and facilitates problem resolution
- Monitors the delivery of services according to the contract and negotiates changes
- An academic background in Life Sciences is essential; MBA will be considered as a plus
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role in the pharmaceutical industry preferably in positions related to Business Development & Licensing, Supply Chain, External Manufacturing
- Knowledge of the contract manufacturing and licensing procedures in the pharma industry
- Basic knowledge of the pharma legislation related with GMPs
- Strong Project Management and negotiation skills
