A large group of companies in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, operating in North Greece with an international presence and significant plans for further development, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial and Marketing Director. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of driving growth and market expansion.
The Role
The suitable candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing national and international sales and marketing plans
- Supervising, training, and motivating regional sales and marketing teams
- Identifying key markets and managing competitors
- Negotiating with buyers from various sectors
- Designing and implementing the annual strategic plan and commercial policy
- Increasing profitability and market share
- Developing field sales action plans and marketing strategies
- Conducting research and market analysis, and monitoring competition
- Preparing monthly and annual reports with data on sales, market share, turnover, and profitability
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- At least 15 years of experience in a similar role in relevant industry
- Proven track record of implementing sales strategies and marketing strategies and increasing profitability
- Good knowledge of hotel/resort management business and marketing
- Exceptional command of English, demonstrated in both oral and written communication
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills and time management abilities
- Proficiency in CRM/ERP systems and data analysis
- Ability to travel nationally and internationally
- Reference letters from previous employers are required
