Your Role:

• Conduct in-depth research on the manufacturing industry, identifying key trends, market needs, and emerging technologies to design conferences that resonate with the target audience.
• Curate high-impact conference agendas tailored to the needs of the manufacturing sector, with a focus on the latest trends, innovations, and challenges.
• Engage and secure top-tier speakers from Greece and internationally, including industry leaders and experts, to ensure content is relevant and insightful.
• Collaborate closely with speakers to refine the agenda, ensuring sessions provide actionable insights while remaining engaging and focused on industry needs.
• Assume ownership for the end-to-end process of running successful conferences, ensuring that the conference flows smoothly and that the planning process is executed flawlessly.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in critical industry topics, such as sustainable manufacturing, Industry 4.0, supply chain innovations, etc.

Requirements

Conference Development:

• Research hot topics within the manufacturing landscape and translate them into compelling conference themes.
• Identify the target audience for a conference idea, including key stakeholders like manufacturers, suppliers, and industry associations, and determine the most marketable angle on this topic.
• Attract and collaborate with high-caliber speakers to develop a compelling, industry-relevant agenda that resonates with the target audience.
• Identify target markets for sponsorships and develop unique selling points (USPs).
• Develop detailed marketing briefs and work with the marketing team to promote the event effectively to both sponsors and attendees.

Business Development and Strategic Awareness

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including key players, technological advancements, and market trends.
• Keep abreast of broader developments in the manufacturing and business conferences industry, identifying new opportunities to expand the event portfolio.
• Build and maintain relationships with influential manufacturing associations, organizations, and potential speakers, both locally and internationally
• Explore new conference formats to continually improve and innovate the event experience.

Your skills and competencies:

• Strong understanding of the manufacturing industry's landscape, trends, and innovations.
• Previous work experience in marketing, communications, or public relations within the manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
• University degree in marketing / communications or engineering would be considered a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Greek and English.
• High commercial awareness and an ability to understand the needs and expectations of stakeholders in the manufacturing industry.
