We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Customer Development Executive to join our team, focusing on field sales within the Supermarket Channels. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and market share growth within assigned supermarket accounts, leveraging Colgate-Palmolive's product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Sales and Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and staff at supermarket locations within your territory. Serve as the primary point of contact for these stores, understanding their needs and implementing strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
- Sales Execution and Revenue Generation: Achieve sales targets by executing in-store activities such as merchandising, promotional setups, and shelf management. Monitor sales performance and implement necessary actions to meet or exceed targets.
- Market and Store-Level Business Development: Identify growth opportunities within your territory and work on expanding distribution and product presence in stores. Execute plans to increase market share within the supermarket channel.
- Promotional Planning and Execution: Collaborate with marketing teams to implement in-store promotions, product displays, and campaigns. Monitor promotional activities and ensure they are executed effectively in each store.
- Market and Competitive Insights: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences at the store level. Use this information to optimize sales strategies and ensure competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in field sales within the FMCG industry, preferably in the supermarket channel.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a hands-on approach to managing store-level relationships.
- Ability to analyze sales data and adjust in-store strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both Greek and English.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stores and priorities effectively.
