We are currently seeking an ambitious and motivated Data Analyst to join our team in Athens . As part of our Transformation Office team within Internal Firm Services, you will work closely with various departments to design and deliver data-driven insights and reporting solutions. Your focus will be on Power BI reporting, data modeling, and analysis , with strong capabilities in SQL and data preparation.

If you are passionate about working with data, writing SQL queries, performing data cleaning, and developing insightful reports using Power BI, this role offers you the opportunity to contribute directly to the success of our business operations.

Examples of tasks you will work on as part of the team

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting reporting initiatives and aiding decision-making across the firm through actionable data insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver meaningful data analysis. Your core tasks will include:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  
• Design and implement Power BI reports and dashboards that deliver key business insights.
  
• Develop and optimize data models within Power BI, ensuring efficient data integration and reporting performance.
  
• Create and manage Power BI Dataflows , connecting and transforming data from various sources for reporting needs.
  
• Write efficient SQL queries to retrieve, clean, and transform data from different databases.
  
• Perform data cleaning and data transformation to prepare datasets for reporting and analysis.
  
• Utilize DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) in Power BI to create measures and calculated columns for in-depth analysis.
  
• Troubleshoot and optimize Power BI reports to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
  

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems Engineering, or a closely related field.
  
• 0-3 years of experience in a data analysis role with a focus on Power BI reporting and SQL
  
• Strong understanding of Power BI features, including Dataflows , Modeling , DAX , and report creation.
  
• Ability to write complex SQL queries for data retrieval, cleaning, and transformation.
  
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially in ensuring data accuracy.
  
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders, both in Greek and English .
  
• Business acumen and the ability to understand and respond to business needs through data analysis.
  
• Military Obligations fulfilled.
