Design Project Manager

- Manage and deliver design of construction projects from the initial stage through all the permits to successful completion
- Monitor architectural design functionality, aesthetics, and its compliance with local zoning laws and urban planning regulations
- Oversee the design process to ensure its alignment with the initial objectives, local regulations, and building codes (e.g., Greek National Building Regulations)
- Ensure compliance with all the necessary building codes and local regulations
- Manage day-to-day design activities of the project, schedules and deadlines to ensure each project is completed on time, within scope of work, and on budget.
- Coordinate all the team members involved in projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and other external project participants
- Regularly visit construction sites to monitor progress and project compliance with the initially stated requirements
- Anticipate and mitigate risks related to cost overruns, schedule delays, or quality issues
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in construction laws and architectural guidelines in Greece
- Prepare all the necessary projects plans and documentation, identify critical milestones and monitor their execution
- Specialized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in project management in construction, engineering or architecture
- Proven track record of successfully completing projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with technical, quality requirements, and standards.
- Solid understanding of the main architectural design principles
- Knowledge of Greek building regulations, zoning laws, and construction codes
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
- Proficiency in architectural design tools (e.g., Auto CAD, Revit)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Highly developed organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to details
- Proficiency in Greek with a minimum level of C2
- Proficiency in English with a minimum level of B2
- Responsibility, reliability, and proactivity
- Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle on-site challenges efficiently
- Salary: 22.000 - 24.000 euros net per year according to the candidate’s qualification
- Full-time position with fixed working hours
