Responsibilities:
- Setting up and maintaining software tools, middleware, etc.
- Managing the company's Linux and VMWare infrastructure
- Automating and improving development and release processes
- Keeping systems up-to-date and secure
- Monitoring the performance of applications
- Investigating problems and helping resolve issues spanning across systems
- Implementing integrations between systems
- Working closely with the development and infrastructure teams to provide optimal technical solutions
- 3+ years of as a Dev Ops Engineer or any related Engineering role
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes/Open Shift
- Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Bash, Python)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins) and Git workflow
- Log management tools (e.g. ELK stack)
- Web servers essentials (e.g. Apache, Nginx)
- Team work and great communication skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Experience in Linux and VMWare administration
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field preferred
- Java app server essentials (e.g. JBoss, Weblogic)
- Certifications in any of the above subjects/technologies will be an advantage
