Our Omnichannel retail, in Greece and Cyprus, is the love brand Public, a Leading Omnichannel Home Living, Tech & Entertainment Retailer with long lasting heritage. Innovation is part of our DNA. Through our ecosystem of startups and organizations, - i Repair, Klarna, Douleutaras.gr, SVUUM, Bookvoice, BOX NOW, Instacar, our tech Public NEXT, Endeavour, Big PI, Metavallon, & Venture Friends - we offer pioneer services to our consumers. We operate 60 stores, 3 e Shops and an ecosystem of digital properties such as: public ticketing, public business and bookfriends.gr.
We are searching for a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective BI solutions, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and promoting the adoption of BI tools and best practices.

We are searching for a skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic data team. In this role, you will be a key contributor in designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that empower data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective BI solutions, ensuring data quality and accessibility, and promoting the adoption of BI tools and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI, leveraging advanced features and functionalities.
- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Optimize Power BI reports and dashboards for performance and scalability.
- Implement data security measures and access controls to protect sensitive information.
- Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools and functionalities.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in BI technologies and best practices.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of BI governance policies and standards.
- Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence development, with a strong focus on Power BI.
- Extensive experience in designing and developing complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and best practices.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL for data extraction and transformation.
- Proficiency with Jira for project planning, task management, and issue tracking.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
