About the location:
Located on the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas, and suites with exquisite views of the Aegean Sea. The brand-new build will take shape on an unspoiled 60,000 square meters of land, spanning from the sandy beaches to the picturesque coastal cliffs. To honor the culture and heritage of the destination, the Resort will be built in the Cycladic style that is synonymous with Mykonos, featuring white cubic architecture with bright spots of blue. The hotel will redefine luxury hospitality on the island. The Resort will offer an exciting variety of restaurants and bars, such as an al-fresco pool-side Italian venue, an authentic Mykonian Kafeneio, a contemporary steak house, and a vibrant beach club. In year 2, this will be supplemented with a Marina.
The Role of Director of Finance:
We currently have an opportunity for the Director of Finance to join our Four Seasons Resort Mykonos opening team in Greece!
Reporting to the General Manager with dotted lines reporting to the Regional Director of Finance and the Vice President, Operations Finance, you will be an integral member of the Hotel Leadership team that is collectively responsible for making key strategic and operational decisions for the hotel.
The Director of Finance will be responsible for safeguarding the hotel assets and financial resources, providing timely and accurate financial information, establishing, and enforcing adequate internal controls and counsel to hotel senior management and ensuring that the hotel operates within all related local and corporate policies and procedures and under the terms and conditions of the Management Agreement.
Our Ideal Director of Finance candidate will have:
Working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and job knowledge of all positions in Accounting, Purchasing, Food & Beverage control and Information Technology.
As Director of Finance, you will be the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in every employee action in your hotel; creating a great workplace for all great people to deliver great experiences. You should have passion for people and talent management, the highest level of integrity and transparency, and will be a Business Partner; strategic, strong business acumen, understanding of operational needs and the ability to contribute to key strategies and operational decisions for the hotel, a catalyst for change and an employee champion.
