Sovel member of Sidenor Group , is looking for an Electrical Engineer for its SOVEL Steel Plant in Almyros-Magnesia. As an Electrical Engineer , you will contribute to the overall electrical maintenance of our production process. You are dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating enthusiasm and high motivation to develop fast and pick up new skills and talents.

What you will need to do:
Follow Health & Safety regulations in accordance with the company’s policies and standards

Coordinate activities with production, maintenance and quality control departments to improve overall effectiveness

Perform and Oversee Corrective and Preventative Maintenance activities on all Electrical equipment

Participate, Monitor and Control the Progress of Maintenance Works

Upgrade, Maintain & Provide Technical Support for existing Electrical Control Systems

Provide assistance to Electrical Maintenance and Automation personnel with troubleshooting and breakdown diagnosis in order to minimize downtime

Oversee Project Scheduling and Organization of Maintenance Assignments

Create or Modify Electrical Equipment Maintenance Plans and Manuals

Your Profile:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Member of Technical Chamber of Greece)

2+ years prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset

Health & Safety Culture

Excellent command of MS Office Applications

Familiarity with automation software and hardware will be considered an asset

Good understanding of Electrical Design and Drawings (knowledge of CAD software, preferably Auto CAD or EPLAN will be considered an asset)
