The electrician is responsible for the necessary maintenance and repairs in the customer's space. CBRE GWS relies on this resource to keep the headquarters in perfect condition, doing various electrical maintenance and other technical maintenance work, at the direction of the direct manager.
Dexterity and technical knowledge are an important part of the technician's arsenal. It must be well organized and have the ability to make general repairs. Attention to detail and physical endurance are important in this job.
Provide Technical Maintenance support
- Responsible for the maintenance of the Facilities site: heating, air conditioning, access control, sprinkler installations, fire detection systems, building maintenance, sanitary installations, ventilation;
- Elaborates the list of maintenance materials for the installations he takes care of;
- Performs electrical works: Replaced lighting fixtures, switches, sockets, made electrical circuits to be able to modify the electrical plan, checked and replaced, installed exit lamps according to plans and provides support in maintenance activities for facilities on site
- Plans and validates the periodic maintenance works for utilities and elaborates the Annual Facilities Plan;
- Plan and monitor weekly facility interventions.
- Supervises and validates the works for the maintenance of utilities;
- Prepare utilities for moving equipment.
- Ensures the interface with the suppliers for specific technical activities regarding the utilities (disseminates and presents to the suppliers the “Subcontractor Manual”);
- Responsible for the maintenance of fire extinguishing systems; access control; video surveillance; sprinklers.
- Responsible for the installation and maintenance of local lighting at workstations, and outdoors;
- Perform daily utility monitoring checks;
- Actively contributes to the continuous improvement of the site's performance: constantly identifies opportunities to eliminate losses and proposes solutions to improve its own activity and the client's location.
- Respects the tasks and responsibilities in terms of labor and environmental protection;
- Understanding and respecting all OSH policies.
- It is ensured that all work orders are fully completed.
- Minor removals and modifications of offices.
- Fulfilment of the general attributions of maintenance and repairs.
- Carrying out fire alarm tests according to plan.
- Comparison of utility readings each month.
- Participates in minor sanitary and electrical installation works.
- Salt spreading in the winter months.
- Gardening works (seasonal).
- Maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Wearing personal protective equipment, if the conditions require it or if it provides for risk assessment, methodology or mandatory information panels.
- Upon request, the provision of regular reports to the superior, regarding his activity on location.
- Will always work safely.
- Building maintenance team assistance - competencies and performance in conjunction with the client team.
- Execution of minor works within the projects carried out inside the building.
- Work on weekends and non-working days, if required.
- Team spirit, worker, interrelationship skills, good communication skills in reports and writing.
- Familiar with computer and software. (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Qualified and physically able to use power tools, to work on the ladder, to transport, lift and carry weights, to use the required equipment and to drive a motor vehicle.
- Must work in all weather conditions
- Other tasks received from higher hierarchical CBRE levels.
Skills, experience, education, personal characteristics required:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar position
- Technical educational profile - compulsory
- Certification for electrical interventions for electrical installations – mandatory
- Experience with HVAC and building installations
- Good communication skills
- Average level of English and proficiency in Greek
- Developed sense of responsibility
