Role overview:
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who is results-driven, strategic, and hands-on, expert in at least one marketing channel, to lead our marketing initiatives and elevate Krotos' brand and growth. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting and executing impactful campaigns that drive growth and brand recognition.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  • Growth: Proven track record of increasing company growth of at least 100% year-over-year with minimal resources
  • Campaign ROI: Ensure a return on investment of at least 3:1 for all marketing campaigns.
Our ideal candidate will have experience building and managing small and growing teams, developing marketing strategies with a strong ROI focus, and a clear understanding of data-driven insights. Key Objectives:
  • Develop and execute Krotos' integrated marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, brand awareness, and revenue growth.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns and promotions, ensuring maximum ROI.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure cohesive messaging and alignment with product development, positioning Krotos as a leader in the audio space.
  • Identify and engage in partnerships and promotional initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reach new audiences.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Define positioning, target demographics, and develop marketing plans for diverse channels.
  • Utilize customer insights and market trends to shape strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
  • Oversee marketing analytics, using insights to continuously refine and optimize campaigns.
  • Manage lead generation and nurture approaches across email, performance marketing, and web.
  • Set marketing goals based on historical data and market forecasts, adhering to a budget that balances cost-effectiveness with high impact.
  • Draft and present reports and insights to the leadership team, ensuring transparency on campaign performance and growth metrics.
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and quality across all marketing materials and channels.
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar marketing role, ideally in a tech, audio-tech, or media environment with team leadership experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO, and email marketing.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of metrics-focused marketing and growth methodologies.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Active Campaign, Salesforce).
  • Strong project management, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics and derive actionable insights.
Desired Skills:
  • A passion for music and sound.
  • Background in sound design or post-production.
  • Established network within press and media.
  • Startup experience or experience in running a company
