DHR Services is a distinguished hotel management company, exclusively managing Domotel Hotels & Resorts, as well as offering bespoke and tailor-made services as third party operator, both for branded and unbranded hotels.
Your Role
As the Hotel Operations Manager for our 4-star boutique hotel in the Cyclades, you will take on a full-time, 12-month role with a focus on building a long-term partnership. Our property operates seasonally and will soon undergo a transformation into a luxury 5-star resort. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating the hotel’s re-organization and upgrading, with a full renovation scheduled for the following year. Collaborating closely with our central organization, you will lead the repositioning and rebranding efforts to establish our property as a distinguished 5-star luxury resort with over 50 keys.
In this position, you will oversee all daily operations, ensuring seamless management of the hotel. You will work to optimize revenue while maintaining rigorous cost controls. As a leader, you will inspire and manage your team, fostering a culture of excellence and dedication. You will also focus on delivering personalized and thoughtful guest experiences, proactively anticipating needs with attention to detail, creativity, and care.
The ideal candidate for this role will possess a high level of hospitality expertise and a talent for building and nurturing positive relationships with both internal teams and guests. Your ability to create memorable experiences and maintain these relationships will be key to your success in elevating the guest experience and achieving our shared vision for this unique property.
This position involves an ANNUAL contract.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the hotel's re-organization and seasonal upgrades
- Lead the next year's renovation, repositioning, and rebranding with DHR Sales & Marketing
- Oversee daily hotel operations with full responsibility
- Ensure the property is in pristine condition for guest arrivals
- Conduct regular inspections for cleanliness, ambiance, service, and staff readiness
- Manage cross-functional teams in reservations, housekeeping, and more
- Coordinate all staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations
- Host team meetings to review operations, targets, guest feedback, and solutions
- Align with DHR Sales & Marketing for business growth and follow-ups
- Set a high standard, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain open, positive communication with guests
- Track guest satisfaction and resolve complaints
- Manage departmental purchase requests and inventory
- Monitor costs to optimize revenue
- Lead recruitment and staffing decisions
- Conduct staff appraisals, identify skill gaps, and propose training
- Provide timely feedback to owners and DHR as needed
- Ensure adherence to legal, policy, and procedural standards
- Be on-call 24/7 to handle emergencies.
- Degree/Certification in Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field
- Accomplished professional with 5 years of Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel setting
- Operational experience in an equal or higher category property in Cyclades will be considered as an advantage
- Excellent command of English and Greek (additional foreign language skills preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient knowledge of hotel PMS software, with experience in Protel or similar systems as a prerequisite
- Proficiency in managing Finances, Budgeting, and achieving financial objectives
- Exceptional Leadership and team-building prowess
- Proven Expertise in Recruiting, Developing, and Inspiring teams
- Keen decision-making process, coupled with sharp problem-solving skills
