HR Generalist (maternity cover)

As an HR Generalist, you will be crucial in building and supporting HR processes. You will work closely with the People Services Team Lead, HR Business Partner, and Business Leaders across all functions in Greece. The role is for a fixed term period (until October 2025).
Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and maintain key HR processes like employee relations, labor law compliance, and time management.
  • Work with teams like Payroll, Legal, and external vendors to provide seamless HR support.
  • Be the go-to person for employee queries, offering advice on HR-related matters.
  • Guide and support managers in HR tasks like employee selection and best practices.
  • Handle HR admin tasks, including maintaining employee records and preparing necessary HR documents.
  • Assist with audits and ensure legal compliance.
  • Support payroll and employee benefits processes, coordinating with external vendors and the payroll team.
  • Help with Employee Health & Safety activities.
  • Manage HR systems like Workday and Service Now, ensuring accurate employee data and guiding users.
  • Lead initiatives to simplify and improve HR processes while promoting HR standards.
  • Assist in HR projects focused on employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Coordinate employee training and promote global development programs.
Requirements:

  • Experience in an HR Generalist or similar role highly preferable or/and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English and Greek.
  • Experience in People Services or shared services models is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes, eager to acquire new skills and expand knowledge.
  • Competent in utilizing digital tools/systems (Workday, SNOW knowledge is a plus).
