Payroll Senior Assistant

Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day administration of medium to large sized multiple client payrolls with no supervision.
- Identify, research, and resolve payroll variances during daily review and analysis.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of clients’ obligations and payroll workflow.
- Provide payroll reports requested by clients’ HR and Accounting departments.
- Respond to payroll-related and local labor legislation inquiries from clients.
- Create and modify reports based on client needs.
- Looking for improvements related to efficiency and payroll best practices and provide feedback.
- Independent performance according to Payroll Manager’s instructions.
- Assist and provide guidance in daily basis to payroll team members regarding payroll and labor legislation issues as well as complex payroll calculations related to retroactive payments, terminations, etc.
- Identification of business opportunities at existing clients.
- Active engagement on the development of new or existing products and services.
- BSc in Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (MSc in HR will be considered an asset).
- 3 to 5 years of working experience in a payroll position. Prior consulting experience will be preferred.
- Excellent use of ERGANI / SEPENET / e-EFKA platform.
- In-depth knowledge of current labor legislation.
- Excellent understanding of multi-payroll cases.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Well organized, self-driven, flexible and able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (Greek/English).
- Computer – literacy skills.
