Forensic Investigation & Disputes Manager

We wish to appoint a Manager, in our Financial Advisory team, in Athens, in our Forensic Investigations & Disputes services.
Our Forensic team performs financial investigations, participates as a technical expert in disputes resolutions, offers litigation support and advice on a wide variety of financial and accountancy matters.
The candidate should demonstrate not only excellent technical skills but also advanced soft skills in dealing with team members, clients and projects’ stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ needs and projects’ priorities and restrictions
- Plan the team’s approach to each project, together with the Director and Partner in charge
- Analyze financial and other data and information
- Select appropriate methodology and perform research
- Identify issues, risks and irregularities
- Use professional skepticism to understand trends, patterns, transactions, relationships
- Evaluate internal control procedures
- Manage multiple projects and teams
- Participate in interviews with individuals involved in investigations
- Supervise, assist and develop team members
- Prepare clear, precise and comprehensive reports and analyses for clients, lawyers and authorities in both Greek and English
- Advise clients or lawyers on disputes and support them in the litigation process
- At least 6-8 years of experience in audit firms or forensic accounting & investigations services in an established professional services firm
- Accounting knowledge and experience (IFRS and Greek GAAP)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Power Point
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels
- Ability to provide guidance to others
- Strong interpersonal and client handling skills
- Excellent report writing skills in Greek and English (experience in drafting reports in financial technical expert projects is a strong asset)
- Excellent writing and verbal communication and presentation skills in both Greek and English
- Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- MSc, CPA, ACCA, ACA or CFE qualifications will be considered a plus
