PCS Engineer
Location: Athens - Greece
Reporting: PCS Director
Hill International is seeking a skilled Project Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team in Athens. This role involves working closely with project management and other stakeholders to monitor and control project costs, schedules, and risks. The successful candidate will contribute to the success of complex construction projects by ensuring that all project control functions are effectively managed and aligned with project goals.

- Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and forecast future costs.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera (P6) or other project management tools.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and report on risk status throughout the project lifecycle.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze project performance data (KPIs) and prepare reports on progress, productivity, and variances.
- Change Management: Assess and control changes in project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Collaboration: Work with project teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project tracking and reporting.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and project controls best practices.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed cost and schedule reports to stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including baselines, budgets, and status reports.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project controls, cost engineering, or scheduling in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6), Microsoft Project, and other project management software.
- Strong knowledge of project control principles, including forecasting, and risk management.
- Experience with large-scale infrastructure or construction projects is preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with project teams and clients.
- PMP, PMI-SP, or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Professional knowledge of the English language The candidate should be based in or be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language.
