Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer (Designer)

JEPA is currently seeking for an experienced Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer to join our growing team!
Responsibilities
- Prepares updates and checks detailed calculations for Public Health systems including Plumbing, Sewage, Drainage, Fire Fighting and Gas.
- Prepares Auto CAD drawings using company design and CAD standards
- Ensures contractual technical specifications are met by the suppliers (reviewing vendor documents)
- Adheres to the committed man/hours and budget for his design area
- Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering activities to the group leader.
- Meets quality objectives of the project
- Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support
- Communicates with clients and other team disciplines (Architects, Structural engineers, Lighting designers, LEED consultants etc.)
- Reviews and understands other discipline drawings (architectural, structural, landscape etc.)
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Degree or Diploma
- 5+ years of experience in Public Health Design
- Problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills

Basic Requirements

- Design / Drafting software experience (AUTOCAD etc.)
- Knowledge of general software (MS Office, Outlook etc.)
- Knowledge of local standards, codes and rules & regulations
- Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple project responsibilities
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Fluent in Greek (written and spoken)
Good to Have
- Field Public Health Engineering experience.
- BIM knowledge
