Position: Procurement Director
Location: Athens, Greece
The Procurement Director will report to the Senior management. The Procurement Director must possess excellent knowledge of the Greek construction industry, including strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers. This role demands strong management, communication, and reporting skills, with experience in General Contractor’s Procurement/Tendering departments considered a plus.

- Lead and manage the procurement process for all construction projects, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of procurement plans, tender documents, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate closely with different disciplines/trades of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Monitor and manage the performance of suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and project specifications.
- Provide strategic direction on cost planning and management, aiming for optimal procurement outcomes.
- Liaise with the General Contractor’s Procurement/Tendering departments to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Report to senior management on procurement progress, issues, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Degree qualifications in Engineering
- Experience: Over 15 years of experience in procurement, cost planning, and management within the construction industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Greek construction industry value chain, with strong relationships across different disciplines and trades.
- Advantage: Previous experience working with General Contractor’s Procurement/Tendering departments.
- Skills: Strong management, communication, and reporting skills. Languages: Fluency in Greek and English is required.
