Quality Assurance Specialist

Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System
- Addressing complex issues through critical analysis and developing ethical, well-reasoned solutions
- Oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of Quality Systems.
- Ensure the compliance with local regulations regarding the distribution of medicinal products in Greece.
- Capable of managing customer complaints to ensure they are addressed effectively.
- Skilled in implementing systems to investigate deviations, manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), and oversee the Change Control process.
- Serve as the trainer for personnel on initial and ongoing Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requirements.
- Coordinating quality risk management activities
- Able to support quality internal and vendor audits when needed
- Proficient in implementing appropriate action plans to achieve metrics when necessary.
- Holds a BA degree in Pharmacy or Chemistry, with postgraduate studies in a related field considered an advantage.
- Proven experience of two years in the Quality Assurance department of a pharmaceutical company, actively engaged in daily Quality Assurance tasks, including complaint management and investigation, internal audits, change control, and implementation of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs).
- A strong understanding and experience with Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and ISO 9001 requirements are essential.
- Knowledge and experience of QMS maintenance and SOPs writing
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, coupled with strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Highly self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure, both independently and within teams, in a fast-paced multinational environment
- Excellent multitasking and time management skills
- Highly results-oriented with a strong drive, and passionate about embracing new challenges.
- Fluent in both Greek and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
