Louis Hotels, one of the biggest hotel groups in Greece and Cyprus, is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated professional for its hotel unit King Jason Zante, at Zakynthos, for the below position:
Sous Chef
Main Responsibilities:
Planning and designing menus for eating establishments.
Calculating costs and liaising with suppliers.
Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff.
Overseeing the food preparation, cooking, and cleaning processes.
Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise.
Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly.
Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards.
Qualifications:
Degree in Culinary.
3 years’ minimum experience as a Sous Chef in a 5* Hotel.
Excellent command of English language is essential; knowledge of a second foreign language will be considered as an asset.
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, guest oriented and with a hands-on operations management approach.
Excellent MS Office, PMS-Computer skills.
