People Cert is looking for an experienced Subject Matter Expert to work within the Product Development team to help develop content that supports our mission to elevate our Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL brand and portfolio. You will work closely with our Product Architects, aligning with the vision to ensure Dev Ops Institute remains the most widely adopted brand in Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL globally. As an in-house Subject Matter Expert, you will contribute to the delivery of the product roadmap and help develop a range of Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL Institute content within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

As a Dev Ops Institute Subject Matter Expert your tasks will include the following:

• Content Creation & Product Alignment:
• Contribute to the creation, review, and maintenance of Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL Institute Official Books, Exams, Official Training Materials, and Digital Content, ensuring all materials align with product and technical specifications and meet evolving market demands.
• Ensure that content is kept up to date and relevant based on customer feedback, market insight and product strategy.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy and quality across all Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL Institute content types.

What we look for:

• 5+ years’ relevant experience working with Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL Institute products in a training or consultancy role
• Be certified with as many as possible Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL Institute or Dev Ops/Prince2/ITIL certifications
• Be certified with as many as possible related certifications from the People Cert portfolio, and/or other providers (e.g. in Project, Programmed and Portfolio Management, SCRUM, Agile, Change Management, Service Management)
• Solid understanding of the products ecosystem and competition landscape
• Experience in product development
• Experience in authoring, reviewing and editing content
• Experience in collaborating with Subject Matter Experts
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Excellent writing and project management skills
• Native or excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification is required, Language Cert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus)
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by People Cert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to People Cert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by People Cert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check.

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in the English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
