Job Summary
Daily operation of the Connectivity Center and ensures proper function of Connectivity Center Department as the Central Communication Center of the Resort in coordinating all Guest needs in a timely manner. To assist reservations team in maximizing Room Revenue and occupancy, entering reservations into Opera and offer availability over the phone. Has a thorough knowledge of all operations of the Connectivity Center as well as all Resort facilities and has a good understanding of all Departmental functions. Trains and directs Connectivity Center Colleagues and maintains effective Guest relations to ensure high level of Guest satisfaction. In addition, to perform all such duties and to carry out all such responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time to ensure the highest levels of personalized attention and standards of service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Supervises and ensures that all incoming calls, in-house calls, routing calls from Departments and Guests, local calls, trunk calls and long distance/IDD calls are handled in an efficient and courteous manner.
Assists Butlers in coordinating all Guest needs in a timely manner.
Adheres to, uphold and directs Connectivity Center Assistants to maintain their grooming standards, co-ordination and oversees the completion of the assigned duties.
Initiates and motivates Colleagues to minimize cost on all levels.
Maintains strong Inter-Departmental relations and communication to achieve synergy within the Department and the Resort.
Exercises proper selling, up-selling, cross selling and suggestive selling technique in order to maximize property revenue.
Maintains up to date knowledge on sales strategies, rates, products, packages, facilities and inventory at all times.
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
Advanced Diploma, Hotel Management or similar discipline
A minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising a Connectivity Center Team, experience in reservations department of 1 year at least
Speaks English fluently (Bilingual skills would be an added plus)
Experience in multiple facets of a Resort Connectivity Center (Opera PMS, Materials Control, HR Fusion, etc.)
Demonstrated experience in coaching, promoting and engaging the Assistants to outperform
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Passion for customer care with a desire and willingness to work in a Connectivity Center environment
Outstanding interpersonal and Guest management skills, strong business communication skills
