The team you'll be part of
Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and v RAN).
Our team specializes in Microwave Transport, focusing on Software and Firmware design, implementation, and test for Nokia’s Wavence Product portfolio.

What you will learn and contribute to
As a Test Engineer in Integration, you will have a key contribution to the SW & FW evolution of Nokia’s Wavence Microwave Products and play a vital role in the functional feature testing of SW releases, promoting the team’s principles for quality, left-shifting and incremental product delivery.
Within one project you will join an Agile team of experts and be responsible to guarantee adherence to requirements and specifications through,

Test Strategy definition.
Test Case creation and execution.
Test Automation (Python, Robot).
Debugging/Troubleshooting, at System or component level.

You have:

Genuine interest in computer networking, coding, and SW testing
Experience with IP Networking Traffic & Routing (including debugging tools)
Experience with basic shell and python scripting
Troubleshooting capabilities on complex systems
Ability to autonomously perform tasks within guidelines and policies
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with peers and project stakeholders and to clearly articulate the test progress
Good spoken and written English

It would be nice if you also had:

Familiarity with Agile Methodologies
Continuous integration and continuous delivery CI/CD understanding
OS Windows & Linux, network administration knowledge
Networking competencies equivalent to CCNA
Selenium and Robot Framework skills
Digital transmission TDM, Radio transmission and Microwave experience
