#Your Role
Your role as a Test Lead will focus on designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business analysts, to establish testing best practices, manage test activities, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure alignment of project objectives. You will play a critical role in driving client satisfaction and delivering successful project outcomes.
During your tenure, your key responsibilities will involve:
- Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, set expectations, and define test objectives.
- Lead a team of testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective test coverage and execution.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to understand requirements and define test objectives.
- Manage all phases of the testing lifecycle, from planning and design to execution, defect management, and reporting.
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- Use test management tools to track testing progress, report on test results, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the adoption of test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the testing process and promote a quality-first mindset within the organization.
#Winning Requirements
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of experience in software testing, with 2+ years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes (manual and automated).
- Experience in client management, including the ability to build strong relationships, manage expectations, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing a team of testers in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Service Now, or similar).
- Experience in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunication or relevant sectors will be considered a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
