Basic Information
On behalf of our client, one of the leading mining companies for gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc in Greece, we are looking for a Underground Mine Mechanical Superintendent. The Underground Mine Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the underground mine related to mechanical establishments and installations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the mechanical infrastructure (include but not limited to: piping, sturda weirs, vent ducts, fans installation, pumps installation).

Basic Requirements
Experience of (5 years) in mining or heavy industry environment, Mechanical Engineering Degree

The Underground Mine Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the underground mine related to mechanical establishments and installations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the mechanical infrastructure (include but not limited to: piping, sturda weirs, vent ducts, fans installation, pumps installation).
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise apprentices, and contractors.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment that prioritizes safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Provide coaching and mentorship and develop the skills and knowledge of your team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with other departments within the mine.
- Report to the mine manager daily activities, problems, or issues.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews and forecast of works for the following week.
- Ensure that all necessary materials and equipment are available and fit for purpose.
- Inspect the quality of the contractor’s job and take corrective action in case of noncompliance with Hellas Gold’s standards.
- Adhere to the company’s policies, rules, and safety procedures.
Basic Requirements
Experience of (5 years) in mining or heavy industry environment, Mechanical Engineering Degree
