Job Title: Villa Manager
Location: Corfu, Greece
Position Type: Fixed term contract for peak season
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Villa Manager to oversee the daily operations of a luxury villa in Corfu. The ideal candidate will ensure that guests receive exceptional service while maintaining the villa's highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and providing concierge services to enhance their experience.
Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fostering positive relationships with guests.
Property Management:
Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the villa, ensuring all areas are clean, safe, functional, and well-presented.
Coordinate with service providers/suppliers, including housekeeping, gardening, and pool maintenance.
Manage and control all necessary certificates/paperwork needed for the operation of the villa.
Crisis management related either to building issues (eg. power failure, lack of water supply etc.) or guest issues (eg. medical issues etc.).
Inventory control and relevant issues. Checking for damage before and after lettings to ensure cause or source of damage is identified and rectified.
Deployment and monitoring of Health & Safety plans.
Staff Management:
Source, hire, train, and supervise contracted staff/sub-contractors to provide value-added villa services, ensuring they adhere to the villa's standards of service.
Schedule staff shifts and manage daily operations.
Financial Management:
Monitor budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Handle financial transactions, including guest payments and vendor invoicing.
Event Planning:
Organise and coordinate events or activities as requested by guests.
Liaise with local vendors for catering, entertainment, and other services.
Local Knowledge:
Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining, and activities, enhancing their stay and providing booking service where required.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a villa manager, or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Corfu area, including local customs, attractions, and services.
Proficiency in English & Greek or other languages is a plus.
Computer literacy and ability to deal with modern infrastructure.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Driving licence for passenger vehicles (up to 8 people).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in event planning and coordination.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service.
Compensation:
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
