Responsibilities

• Managing daily warehousing operations (workflow, personnel, processes)
• Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods under health, safety & security standards
• Optimizing process flow and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
• Performance Management: Monitoring productivity & quality KPIs. Identify performance problems and providing potential solutions to warehouse manager after alignment with Shift Leaders and Customer Service
• Coaching and training of staff by monitoring and supervising training progress of ongoing trainings and by defining future training needs
• Support new business setups

Requirements

• University degree, preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Engineering
• Post Graduate Qualification in Logistics and/or Transport will be considered an asset
• At least 5 years proven experience in a similar position, in warehouse operations and staff management.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and influence others
• Self-motivated, results oriented
• Drive in growing performance
• Analytical and binding working manner
• Ability to work and make decisions under pressure, and within tight deadlines with flexibility and ability to set priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office programs/tools and familiar with WM Systems
