The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) is charged with the responsibility for maintaining the stability and integrity of the monetary and financial systems of Hong Kong. There is now an excellent opportunity for eligible candidates to apply for the following position:

Assistant Officer (Finance) – Payment and Accounting Support

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare expenditure disbursements and corresponding accounting entries
• Record fund commitment for approved procurement
• Assist in the monthly account closing and year-end analysis schedules
• Provide accounting support to operational subsidiaries
• Perform ad hoc duties and provide other administrative support as assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• University degree in accounting or relevant discipline
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in accounting
• Knowledge of accounting software “Sun System” an advantage
• Conversant with Microsoft Office applications
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
