What you will be doing?

Assist supervisor to monitor technical staff for daily operations of the analytical chemistry laboratory

Carry out routine chemical testing according to SOP

Monitor instrument performance and maintain daily operations to meet testing turn-around time and deadline of projects

Develop and implement new test programs, methods, instrumentation, and internal procedures according to regulatory and client requirements

Ensure the laboratory is operated in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025.

Report work progress, deficiencies and malfunctions to supervisor

Identify and report any potential problems within the analytical chemistry laboratory to supervisor

You need to be

Degree or above in Chemistry or related subject

At least 3 years solid experience in the operation of a chemical testing laboratory

Experience in supervisory level is an advantage

Solid experience working in ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory is a must

Familiarity with operating and maintenance of analytical instruments, i.e. GC-MSMS, LC-DAD/MSMS, ICP-OES, AAS, UV-Vis, etc.

Self-motivated, independent, good problem-solving skills, and with good communication skills

Proficiency in spoken and written English

Less experience will be considered as Chemist
