Oscar Bioenergy JV is the subsidiary of Veolia in Hong Kong. O·PARK1 on Lantau Island, is Hong Kong's first of its kind food waste recycling project. It is able to treat 73,000 tonnes of food waste from restaurants and food factories annually. The project, operating in the name of OSCAR Bioenergy Joint Venture, applies biological treatment, such as anaerobic and composting processes, to convert waste into methane gas and organic fertilizer. The plant is fully in accordance with the Chinese and EU standards, and the strictest safety and environmental requirements.

Responsibilities

Organize and Lead visits / activities to enhance the community’s awareness of waste issues and operation of concerned facilities;

Prepare presentation materials including brochure, video, posters, Power Point, business car, data sheets etc. and liaises with designated Client officers and OPARK1 managers on organizing and execution of community relations programs;

Coordinate the Site Tours and the maintenance service of Visitor Centre;

Handle Complains from Clients and surrounding Neighbors if any;

Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations;

Prepare Monthly reports and submit to the Project Manager and Employer Commercial role;

Promote, market and sales of compliant mature compost produced from OPARK1;

Arrange for the Sales of other recyclables from OPARK1;

Cultivated and maintained relationships with Clients, Customers and other Stake holders;

Pursue new accounts through lead generation, cold calls and advertising referrals

Create and manage the sales plans to maximize revenues in certain territories and optimize time spent at each location;

Perform sales presentations to client and Stake holders;

Handle high volume phone sales, email inquiries and referrals at times;

Liaise and communicate with waste collectors effectively if any change in operation;

Take part in meetings and prepared the meeting minutes as requested by the Project Manager;

Work on any other assignments assigned by Project Manager;

Requirement

5 years’ or above experience in public relation;

Sales & Marketing experience required;

Solid experience in project management is desire;

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin;

Good computer knowledge, proficiency in MS office and Google applications;

Pro-active, independent and can work under pressure;

Well-organized, responsible and hard-working;

Result-oriented with positive attitude.
