Responsibilities:

Unit dose dispensing according to the pharmacy worksheet under supervision of the pharmacist
Make changes for the ready-for-use unit dose preparation according to the newly received prescriptions
Help collect the self-brought medications after patient follow up and document them
Check against any changes with the old prescriptions
Organise the storage of patient self-brought medications
Help prepare the pharmacy worksheet under the supervision of the pharmacist
Fill in the ready-for-use unit dose preparation in the drug trolley and replenish the PRN medications in it
Regular check and replenish the drug trolley ward stock and ward stock in the ward level
Dispensing according to the prescription under supervision of the pharmacist for the internal staff, external and liquid preparation
Check the expiry date of medications quarterly
Assist the pharmacist to monitor the stock level and dispose unused medications
Fill in the almost exhausted items in the drug cabinet from the drug mini-warehouse
Prepare labels for pharmacy use
Answer other colleagues’ enquiry
Assist the pharmacist in other not specified activities to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy
Administrative work

Requirements:

Diploma or above in Dispensing Studies, Pharmaceutical Technology or related discipline
Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience
Able to work shift during contingency
