Responsibilities:
- Provide therapeutic diet counseling at UCN community clinics (Kwun Tong, Tai Po, Jordan and/or Tin Shui Wai area)
- Provide outreach dietetic consultancy services at nursing homes and/or home visits for elderly
- Participate in district wide health and nutrition promotion projects
- Conduct nutrition talks and workshops for schools, corporations, NGOs, food industries and professional trainings for medical health/social service sectors
- Coordinate, plan, implement and evaluate nutrition courses
- Write nutrition articles, grant writing and/or assist other health and nutrition marketing activities
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian of Commission of Dietetic Registration (USA); or Registered Dietitian of Health & Care Professions Council (UK); or Registered Dietitian of Provincial Registration (Canada); or Accredited Practising Dietitians of Dietitians Australia (Australia), or its equivalent qualifications
- Accredited Dietitian Member of the Hong Kong Academy of Accredited Dietitians (HKAAD) will be preferred
- Candidates with at least 1 year of community dietetics experience is preferred
- Mature, responsible, excellent presentation & interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, creative, good team player
- Willing to work on Saturdays/Sundays/Public Holidays and irregular hours
