We are looking for a Full-time teacher for a Mathematics enrichment centre located in Central (3 mins from MTR).
S.A.M is the largest Singapore Math enrichment program in the world for children aged 4 to 12.
Singapore Maths has consistently been ranked amongst the top in the world according to the TIMSS survey on Maths and Science programs worldwide. With its unique pedagogy, children learn advanced thinking skills and creative approaches towards Mathematics unlike any other program. At S.A.M, we teach Singapore Maths. More than that, our S.A.M Certified Trainers effectively deliver the program in a creative and caring learning environment, and through our more than 30,000 pages of meticulously designed worksheets.
Responsibilities:
1) Deliver the SAM programme to students from 4 to 12 years old in a group of no more than 4 students, following the process and standard of the centre
2) Grade homework, classwork and tests
3) Plan and prepare learning progress of students
4) Communicate with parents on a regular basis about student's study progress
5) Assist in the daily centre operations
Requirements :
1) Degree holder. Candidates with HK Diploma/Degree holders in early childhood education or relevant disciplines and experience in teaching or equivalent would be an advantage.
2) Strong interest in teaching Maths
3) Competent in Maths and able to speak English fluently
4) Responsible and patient with children
5) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6) Teaching experience at education centres is a must
7) Immediate availability is an advantage
