Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering functions related to manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a solid background in manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to develop and optimize production processes and workflows.
• Design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to identify and resolve process-related issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
• Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing technologies and equipment to support production goals.
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Train and mentor engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Proficient in engineering software and tools; experience with CAD and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
