Manufacturing Engineer Manager (EMS Factory Experience Required) - at PRC

They are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, and they are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team in Shenzhen.
Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering functions related to manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a solid background in manufacturing engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the manufacturing engineering team to develop and optimize production processes and workflows.
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing systems and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and supply chain, to identify and resolve process-related issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Evaluate and select appropriate manufacturing technologies and equipment to support production goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including work instructions, process flows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train and mentor engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and drive improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Proficient in engineering software and tools; experience with CAD and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
- Competitive salary up to 50,000 HKD.
