• Researching, developing and implementing automated equity / commodity trading strategies in Asia
• Construct and manage team’s data lake and database tools
• Presenting new/updated research within AHL and across Man Group
• Contributing to AHL’s overall research effort by interacting with and collaborating with other research teams
• Following industry and academic literature for relevant innovations and suggest how Man/AHL could profit from it

• Strong coding skills in Python and experience of handling large data sets. We use Python and its scientific stack for both research and live trading.
• Several years’ experience in equity / commodity quant research.
• Recent graduates with strong internship experience may be considered.
• Independent, self-organised and has the ability to effectively manage their time in a high-velocity environment.
• Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical, statistical, and computing content e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Physics from a leading university
• A deep understanding of statistics and an ability to apply to real world problems
