With the vision to increase the overall tech literacy of the world, Preface is known to provide market-leading education solutions to fulfill the ever-changing learning & customized-development needs of learners and corporates worldwide
Our journey started in Hong Kong, tackling the issues of our traditional education model to cultivate future global talents through customized, uptrend, and bitesize learning. In 2018, we started “Preface Coffee & Wine” to bring the immersive lifestyle learning experience to life.
In 2021, with the world’s growing awareness and demand of tech education that works, Preface secured a 6M USD Series A funding. Since then, we have partnered with a range of global companies, such as Meta, IWC, Warner Music and more to showcase the possibility of technology across all industries.
2022 and 2023 is a phase of expansion and automation. We are expanding the Preface Ecosystem globally to London, Singapore, Japan, and more and at the same time developing cutting edge technology in preparation for Preface 2.0. We are just getting started.

About the Role

As a high-growth organisation, Preface is actively looking for a motivated individual to join the B2C Sales Team.
Your key responsibilities will be in the following areas:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities with individual clients (B2C), mainly parents and adult learners
• Conducting professional and personalised consultations, including but not limited to presenting learning proposals and benefits, and acting as the subject matter expert to potential, newly acquired as well as existing individual clients
• Building trust and fostering relationships with decision makers, i.e. parents and adult learners by understanding their education goals and needs
• Qualifying and support the complete sales cycle - from qualifying leads to closing deals
• Managing relevant CRM data, with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and thoroughness
• Own and continuously improve the conversion process

• Passionate about education and technology

You may also have similar or equivalent experiences as below:

• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in Sales / Business Development / Account Management, preferably in the education sector but not essential
• Previous sales with a strong track record in achieving targets and managing the whole sales pipeline
• Essential to have a growth mindset; Highly adaptable to continuous change and growth
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to influence and inspire stakeholders; able to develop and nurture both internal and external relationships
• Enjoys working in a dynamic team environment where your collaborative and competitive spirit will drive you in reaching goals
• Good command in Cantonese, as well as verbal and written English. Mandarin is a plus
• Education consultancy experience a bonus
• Candidates with more experience may be considered as Sales Manager
