Securities Lending Trader (Analyst/Senior Analyst)

What role will you play?

In this dynamic role, you will be empowered to explore new ideas, originate, identify and execute on profitable trading opportunities across seven regional markets, partnering with sales and other trading businesses to distribute products aligned to Macquarie's competitive advantages. You are responsible for managing and optimising equity inventory, with a focus on efficient allocation, rate management, funding, optimizing capital usage and relationship management. With effective risk and control management in mind, you will also work to ensure trading risks are foreseen, managed and escalated within the group framework.

What you offer

• Existing exposure to trading either through a front office or support role. Exposure to Securities Lending is favourable but not required
• Strong numerical, technical and programming skills with a passion for automation
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and making sound judgement calls when evaluating risk and reward
• A self-motivated team player with the ability to quickly build effective relationships with external clients and counterparties together with internal stakeholders
• A confident communicator with fluency in English. Additional language skills will be highly regarded but not essential.
