Senior Analyst, Credit Administration

Responsibilities

Assess credit approvals to maintain control over credit limits and monitor collateral effectively.
Provide support to business units by addressing documentation discrepancies and following up as needed.
Ensure all required loan documentation and conditions precedent are completed to the Bank’s satisfaction.
Set up and manage credit facilities and covenants within the system.
Advise relationship managers on the setup and maintenance of derivatives limits.
Compile internal management reports along with external regulatory filings.
Offer administrative assistance, including the custody of documentation.
Engage in audit reviews and respond to inquiries from auditors and external regulatory bodies.
Promptly report any operational concerns or findings to Management and other relevant parties.
Collaborate with stakeholders while adhering to a risk-conscious approach.
Participate in global projects and user acceptance testing (UAT) initiatives.
Handle additional assignments as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
At least 6 years of experience in middle office or credit administration within banks or financial institutions, ideally in a regional hub.
Strong knowledge of corporate banking products.
Act as a specialist for complex issues.
Demonstrate high efficiency and accuracy in managing substantial workloads.
Fluent in English (spoken and written), Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Availability for shift work during Hong Kong holidays to support regional offices, including Singapore.
