About the role

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all hardware components.

Perform routine inspections and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.

Purchase, install, and maintain software applications and licenses.

Ensure all software is up-to-date and compliant with company policies.

Provide technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.

Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.

Manage data storage solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

Implement backup and recovery procedures to protect company data.

Set up and configure servers to support business applications and operations.

Monitor server performance and perform necessary updates and maintenance.

Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.

Manage system migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Develop and execute migration plans, including data transfer and system configuration.

Uphold the integrity and security of all network systems and data.

Implement security protocols to protect sensitive information and maintain compliance.

Actively work with various departments to understand and fulfill their IT requirements, promoting a culture of teamwork and innovation.

Oversee IT department activities, ensuring optimal performance and adapting to rapidly changing technology and business needs.

Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.

Prepare reports on IT performance, issues, and solutions for management.

Liaise with vendors for hardware and software procurement and support.

Negotiate contracts and service agreements as necessary.

Organize and support ad-hoc projects as assigned.

We are looking for someone who is/has

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT administration or a similar role.

Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems, networking, and security protocols.

Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.

Familiarity with system migration processes and sourcing new systems.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese), showcasing strong language and writing skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Immediate available is highly preferred.
